Anthony Laguerre / Jérôme Noetinger

Originally meeting by chance at various festivals, we found that we share common musical interests.
Then we decided to try playing together, sharing rock energy and electroacoustic manipulation, amplified drums and distorted tape, feedback and re-injection, live processing and détournement.
A large tape loop was also set up on two supplementary reel-to-reel tape recorders to create a random memory, delayed and unstable, acting like a distorting mirror.
This recording is the result of two days' work at Centre Culturel André Malraux de Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy, France, in July 2018. It is dedicated to our friend Dominique Répécaud.

À l'origine, c'est une rencontre humaine entre deux musiciens qui se croisent dans divers festivals et partagent quelques points communs musicaux.
Surgit ensuite l'idée d'essayer de jouer ensemble en partageant énergie rock et manipulation électroacoustique, batterie amplifiée et bandes distortionnées, feedback et réinjection, récupération et détournement…
Pour pimenter ce duo, une grande boucle magnétique est installée sur deux magnétophones supplémentaires pour créer une mémoire aléatoire, retardée et instable, agissant comme un miroir déformant.
Cet enregistrement est le fruit de deux jours de travail au Centre Culturel André Malraux de Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy en juillet 2018. Il est dédié à Dominique Répécaud.
